I just want to thank Michael Jackson. I grew up with the Jackson 5, was in Jr. High when Off the Wall Came out, and then Thriller in High School, and continued to love him as an adult. Every song has a meaning or a memory from a moment in my life. He started so young, and really never had a “normal” life. He gave his life and talent to us. With his blessing of being famous and rich, I also feel he lead sometime a tragic life, that we the world gave him. The press hounding his every move, the public pointing fingers at a drop of a hat. Shame on us. I describe him as talented, and yes with over the top tastes and hobbies (and sometimes I will even say that is putting it mildly! LOL). In my opinion from watching some the people who knew him and loved him, he was nothing but a gentle and wonderful soul. He lived a world that made him happy in his soul and I think that is beautiful. I have great respect for him, for never changing, no matter what the world said. We lost a great Icon and even after almost a week, I am listeing to his songs and I feel a part of me died too, because he gave me so much without asking anything in return. Michael….I hope you like it up there in heaven. Maybe you can continue your work and be an Angel to some of us down here now. :)
Micheal Jackson was indeed, an international favourite for all ages in different type of ways.
R.I.P MJ, we will never forget you. Especially The Seychellois. We Love You.
